I was wondering when ruthven's kingsnakes typically breed? In early spring or later on because I have 1.2 and the females have shed twice since they have been out of hibernation on feb. 20 and I placed the females with the male right after they shed and he mildly pursues them but stops soon after with no mating occuring. All three snakes came out of hibernation in shed. The females eat like pigs but the male is not eating but acts and looks very healthy. I just don't want to miss any breeding windows with these guys. They are four years old and are suppossed to be proven double clutchers. Thanks for any info.
