A question for Tx Herpers(Horny Toads)

Hey Guys,

I was just wondering if any of you guys have ever herped in Lavaca Cty,Colorado Cty,Fayette Cty, or Gopnzales Cty ? I am asking b/c I am wondering how often any of you find the Horned Lizard out there. I use to find them all the time as a kid but have not had the chance to get out there recently. Are they still found with some frequency out there ?

I don't know about the area you are talking about but I live about an hour and a half away and find them regularly.

I've found about 6 or 7 total in roughly 50 trips. Yet I don't get there until shortly before dark.
