has anyone tried the "super-b" mercury bulbs? are they at all good???

I don't know about that one, but I use the 100 watt Mega-Ray FLOOD LAMP and really like it. I is not near as fragle as the earlier Mercury Vapor bulbs were. I paid $40 for mine at Reptile Direct, and it should last a year or more. I like it because it give huge UVB and of course gives heat as well. Even at the end of a year it gives more UVB than most Florsents do new. I like the all in one idea.
