I'm not really good w/diseases and such, but I'd like to ask the obvious. Is there a way for substrates/poo to mix through the divider? Is it sealed to keep air/temps in each enclosure? Do you wash you hands after handling one and then the other?
I'm not an expert so don't quote me on this. But, if you answered no, yes, yes. Then I really don't see a way for them to get anything from eachother. Most are transmitted through contact, if I remember correctly, or ingesting. If it's not a sealed divider, I would strongly suggest doing this and taking them both for check-ups w/the vet to make sure there are no problems.
Good luck and sorry if I didn't help.
Carrie
