We need to keep our rights!

ajfreptiles Apr 02, 2005 11:20 AM

We should have the right to keep whatever animals we want. That may sound crazy, but if you say some should not be kept...then where can you draw the line? Whose rights are any less valid?

I do not think it is a good thing to show what pit bulls do every year, as their owners have rights too. Saying they are bad animals only strengthens the position of removal of our rights.

It is the owners of the animals that cause the problems...period!

Education is the key.

Unfortunately, there will always be those who wish to remain ignorant and form a prejudice opinion based solely on this ignorance. And even more unfortunate it is often these same people who fight so hard to make THEIR prejudices the law and take away our right to pursue happiness. And therefore make the U.S. less free for ALL of us. Don't we already have enough laws regulating what we "free" Americans can and can not do? Thousands of Americans gave their lives in two World Wars so you and I could hold on to our constitutional right to the pursuit of happiness...Why now are so many people trying to give these rights away??...Shame on them. I don't know about you but I want to live in a FREE America where I have the right to pursue happiness..This is what the U.S. is all about and the MOST important thing on this planet
