From the classifieds. They are not from the Canary Islands either. They are from Kafiau or Kofiau Island. I'm pretty sure the Canary Islands are off the coast of Africa, not Indonesia. There are lots of them available right now, and I'm sure you're going to see MANY more in the next few months.

Good luck.

The canary islands are on the other side of the world from indonesia there off the coast of morroco but they belong to spain.

A friend of mine had one these. One day it was yellow and the following day after a shed it was solid green.

One day she wwas yellow and the next she was still yellow. This animal is breeding size well over 1000 grams and 5 years old.

Not all of them will stay like this, but some do and the ones that do are worth a lot. These can and do stay yellow.

All the same for the one I was talking about. Time will tell.Nice animal though. One other question...How do you know that the animal you posted here is five years old?

There has been a lot of discussion on these "canary" chondros. Check over on the Morelia Virdis forum. Apparently most are going to green, and the biggest joke i've seen recently is "het for canary chondro!" too funny...
