What is your lighting combo setup?

Tigergenesis Apr 02, 2005 06:57 PM

I'm just wondering what everyone has to use in the way of heat lights/lamps, etc in order to achieve the correct temps for their Uro - and also what the height is on your cage?

I'm planning on an 18" high cage and wondering what how many and what wattage bulbs I might need. Just looking for some guidance.

Thanks!

I have an 18" tall tank. I bought a piece of lucite and mounted my UV fixture to it. I have a 80 or 100 watt (cant remember) spot on the hot side and a 50 watt neo bulb in the middle. I have a towel over the top to keep it insulated. I have managed to maintain good ambient temperatures as well as a hot and moderate basking spots.

~But I want to build a bigger enclosure for the summer.
