As far as clown tree frogs go, they would be perfectly suited for the tank set-up you described. They have done equally well for me in 50% humidity and 90% humidity. Of course you'll want to stay around 70% on average. I let it vary with the season. They are very hardy frogs once established. They do not enjoy sterile environments (such as paper towel bottoms and a potted plant). They will try to escape these types of set-ups on a regular basis in my experience. In a naturalistic environment, however, they relax quite a bit and do not make attempts to escape, but rather jump back into their tank for cover. They are beautiful as you know, but like many tree frogs, they disappear into hiding when the lights turn on.

Regarding Amazon milk frog care, I created a brief care sheet about them a few weeks ago. It can be viewed at http://www.amphibiancare.com/frogs/caresheets/amazonmilkfrog.html Hopefully you will find it useful,

I am currently keeping two Amazon Milk Frogs (also called Brazilian Cave Frogs) in a 30 gallon Paludarium. It is filled 2/3 of the way with water and fish, and the top has many branches and live plants, as well as some land areas. The humidity is about 85 to 90 percent, and the temp is between 78-83 degress. They sit out in the open on leaves or branches, and climb all over the place at night. They eat 3 week old crickets, fed every other day.

I was under the impression they were rather delicate glad to know not so. When they call do they sound like the green treefrogs?
I am looking into these treefrogs as love their look.
