General Eastern questions...

pjom Apr 02, 2005 09:12 PM

This might be my first time posting but I'm not sure, I have been reading the archieves and old posts for some time now. My question is, are red faced/throated indigos more common or are they just more sought after than a solid black? Do more people just breed the reds? As far as I can tell from the posts, there isn't any size difference and they're not different subspecies is that true? Is there a decent book on Indigos/Cribos?

High red easterns and all black easterns and those in between are all the same species of snake. No subs and no real "morphs" (thank God).

Many people prefer the red-chinned indigos so they often sell for more, I don't know if they are more common in captivity or not. My guess is not...
