Just bought my first Boiga dendrophila melanota...

It's a white phase juvi and seems to be quite docile, so far. My question is, how would you go about starting to handle her. I have very little experience with rear fanged, but have dealt with some very aggressive large pythons. I am not a big fan of using gloves and will start with a stick but am wondering if just tailing her at first to get her used to it then moving in, or what you guys think. I just got her home, can't really tell how big she is, I am guessing just under 3ft. She is very thin, not unhealthy thin, just young thin. Anyway, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance, Eric-

Its a Boiga Dendrophila Dendrophila, being that it is white. Did some more research and the white one's only come from Bali, but the venom is identical to that of the others. Used gloves yesterday, picked her right up, she moves a lot but never struck. Hopefully this will continue.
