New pics, freshly shed ghost...

RyanT Apr 03, 2005 01:18 AM

This my male I picked up from Bill Kirby about 5 weeks ago. This is the first time he's shed for me. I'm so fascinated by ghosts. Sunglows are cool and motleys are a close second for me but ghosts have to be my favorite. I still can't beleive I really own one. And an awesome one at that. I'm seriously in love with this snake. Can ya tell? He's the only snake I have that every time I have him out, I just get the urge to kiss him. It's freakin weird. I'll leave it up to your imaginations if I really do or not.

He did it first. He does it best. With Linda of course doing excellent justice with and improving on his lines.

But afterall, he is a ghost. Boo.

Bill produces wonderful Ghosts. I love them too. I'm drawn to the soft pale shades. I've got holdbacks of all different coloring from grey to cheesecake yellow, yet it is still the subtle pale coloring that attracts me. BTW, I kiss and smooch mine all the time. They take it all in stride; seemingly resigned to being the hapless victims of my affections.

you've done some beautiful things with them. I look at your website sometimes in total awe. Don't stop doing what you do. I can't wait to see what those DH Hoggs have to offer too.

I know what you mean. I felt so blessed when I got my first Ghost. I thought it would never happen! Congrats! That is one awesome looking Ghost.

He's a sibling to Bill's patternless if you've ever seen or heard about that one. I'm looking forward to seeing if he happens to be carrying that potential too. So far, I'm only planning on breeding him to a really nice orange normal female this coming season but we'll see. By the way, he's also probably dominant. He's got it all.

I know this post is getting lower on the forum but while I was kissing Bill and Linda's butts, I forgot that I really like the work Frank Martin does with ghosts too. I was just looking at the classifeds and saw one of his ads and thought of it. I wish I could afford one of his yearling female DH Ghosts right now. They're awesome. Anyway, I'm in an unusually friendly mood tonight and figured I'd revisit my own post and share my opinion. Good night.

I have had good luck producing nice clean ghosts. I totally agree with Ryan's comments about both Linda and Frank. Both are producing really high quality ghosts and I look forward to seeing what future genetations look like.
