and on the back she has almost no color (red) and what I think is a pretty normal looking pattern.
Can't wait to see how this one grows

Are all of the babies normals, like you expected, or are there any surprises?

Congratulations by the way. I've been following your posts from the very beginning and could barely wait for you to post pictures.

They are cute! I really like that one with the ton of red.

well, two eggs that I had doubts about poked through this afternoon
One had gotten dehydrated while in my makeshift incubator, and then rehydrated and was only slightly smaller than the other eggs, well, the baby is fine from there Also the one BIG egg has a nose sticking out now. I'm so happy, they took their time, and I actually "smelled" every one hatch! Unreal!

All appear "normal" right now, but several strange patterns, ruby is definately het for more than anery and amel, and in a few years, maybe I'll find out what

That one belly is the most obvious surprize so far, but 3 are still hanging out in their eggs, so I won't know them till late tomorrow I'm sure, that seems to be the speed, head one day, the rest the next. She laid 15 eggs, three of which were obviously bad about a month into incubation. But of the 12 good eggs, I got 12 perfect snakes

I know, all you big breeders are way beyond this level of excitement over each clutch But this is our first, so it's very exciting here.

Milksnake phase influence.

I've seen that type of ventral patterning in most if not all of my Milksnake phase snakes. It seems that the selective breeding that affects the saddles also affects the ventral checkering. I'm not saying that that is the only thing that it could be but if you look closely at the saddles, you will probably see that they are slightly different (larger, more banded) then snakes with normal ventral patterns.
