You can do whichever way you want. When I am busy I just put them in a shallow dish with calcium so the leos can feed themselves. If not I actually enjoy feeding them one-by-one, that's like our bonding time.

If I don't have time at night, then I just put the meal worms in a shallow dish for my leo to eat. Instead of dusting I just put the calcium and supplements in the dish also so then they tend to ingest some of it when they eat the meal worms. Just make sure not too much is being consumed. If you don't have any problems holding the mealworms you should also try dusting them and then hand feeding ur leo. This gets the leo tamer and used to your hand. I'm sure this isn't perfect but it's my method, and has worked for the last five years.

My almost 3 month girl will pretty much just take them from me one by one right now. She'll go up to the dish sometimes, but I think there's so many mealies squirming around she can't decide which to eat first, so she just sits there darting her head around. It's ok, cuz I like feeding her one by one.

I just dust them and throw a few on the floor in front of the hide or them they usually don't make it too long after that. You can put them in a shallow dish with a little powder or hand feed they both work good. I only feed every other day that way they eat better and never turn down a meal they still get just as fat maybe fatter than most. -Geeboo

My leo doesnt like to be hand fed so i just dust, drop in, and enjoy the show. He still is very tame and sometimes falls asleep on me.
