Me and my friend are having argument,and we need to settle this.He think that you can hold a snake right after it ate and it wont throw the food up.

It's not a good idea to hold a snake after it has eaten because it could regurgitate. It depends on the individual snake and it's stress level when being handled, it might, it might not. I usually give it about two days after my snakes have eaten before I handle them.

"NO" DON'T HANDLE YOUR SNAKES AFTER THEY EAT !!!Your right if you handle a snake after it eats it will MORE likely to regurgitate it's food.This is a natural responce for snakes.In the wild if a predator corners a snake and it has a big belly full of food..It will regurge in order to excape.Even though it is a natural responce it is still HARD on the animal.Once a snake regurgitates in captivity it will be more sensitive to repeat it.Most likely boa's.
