My vet is going to be giving him panacur my question is will this help his appetite becuase he hasn't ate a thing in a week and a half....

The panacur should help depending on how bad the worms are. (i'm assuming these are tape worms?) Parasites that infect the gut always interfere with the eating cycle. If your BTS starts having runny stools or regurging (if it does eat) you might have the vet check for other parasites.
I've used Metronidazol (sp?) also sold as Flagyl for large animals and "Heximit" for fish as a Prcautionary along with panacur to remove worms or anything nasty inside of reptile. The reason that I like the Flagyl treatment is that in addition to a wormer it is an appetite stimulator. I dont have the dose handy, but I'd definitely talk to your vet about it. Its really nice stuff.
