So my mom went into my room the other day to check on Phoenix.

She came downstairs and asked me this: Do you know that Phoenix told me something?

I said no. She said "Phoenix told me he was hungry." I asked how, she replied with "he's standing in his food dish waiting for more food."

I went up there and sure enough he was standing in his worm dish waiting for more worms. What a silly boy he is.

He's gaining weight like a champ now. Probably 2-5 grams since I've gotten him.

I'm working on getting a digital read out scale that way it's easier to keep track of weight gain/or loss (hopefully it'll just keep track of weight gain, none of my animals have ever lost single ounce/gram/pound.)

You know, after everything we went through my brother just put 5 wax worms in there (not intended for him to eat all at once, but in case he gets hungry and my brother isn't awake/there to feed him) and went upstairs and got on the computer, that little guy ate 3 of the waxworms.

Turns out he doesn't really like eating in front of people. That may be the reason why he only ate the first 2 days here.

But he's not skiddish anymore. That's another good thing. When the tank lid opens he doesn't "head for the hills" he just stands there and when my brother puts his hand in there he runs over and licks it.

I think lil'brudr is gonna be all right. Phoenix is pigging out almost daily so I have a feeling he's gonna be HUGE within a matter of months.
