Well, last weekend I sold my 2 Argus monitors. I have been missing them for a week now. Today I went into a local shop and saw this little guy, I had to take him home. I don't ususally like savannas much, but this was a baby that was alert and active. He seemed pretty interesting, and I have been wanting to raise a young baby up to adulthood.

He is 6 inches long and weighs 15 grams. He is alert and active. He looks healthy, but you know how that goes...

denial is the first sign from what i hear, he is a nice looking little, guy. Days like today are the ones that remind me why i spend tons of money on this hobby.

about how long is it, is it a male, how much would he want for it, is it a good feeder, and not completly insane.
as for monitor adiction if i could i would have one of every varaniod in the world

You got rid of your 2 argus' and got a sav?
Are you just trying to do the oppisite of me when I traded 2 savs for an argus?
Next time I'm in NC visiting relatives remind me to come by and smack you upside the head.

I went from 6 feet of monitors to 6 inches. Now I have this big cage sitting in my spare bedroom with nothing in it but a $#!% load of dirt, and a 10 gallon next to it with a miniture monitor. HAHA

Seriously though, I am adding on to the big cage. I am not sure if I will add 2X4 feet of floor space or double the cage to 8X4X7. I also gave my wife my other cage for her ball pythons. I guess it won't be long before I will be needing to build another big cage for the Sav.

O_o He's a nice lookin little guy. I saw a about 19 inch sav monitor in a pet store, i could see the freakin bones of its entire body, made me mad i didn't have the cash to buy him. I swear I will give you a million bucks to come to my house and fill my sav's cage with that dirt that you have. i swear.. grrrr =-)
