How long did your Uromastyx take to settle in?

How long did it take for your Uro to settle in and start acting normal?

It's been about 5 days, the 2nd day I caught him eating, the rest of the days he wouldn't do it in front of me. Today, I noticed he didn't eat much at all, so I tried to put some greens in front of him . He stared at me for about 20 minutes then he ate the greens.

I hope it gets better!

How was yours?

It can take a couple weeks. It can be a little longer if it's a wild cought.

I must have a really wierd mali then. Mine was settled in, eating, walking around, basking, walking up to the cage too see my face and hands within a day. He's really trusting. Good luck with yours.

My uro is still kind of wary of me, and I've had him for a month and a half. He wouldn't eat in front of me for at least 10 days. And even now he keeps one eye on me.
