I am posting this as a reminder and a plea for everyone to get those letters sent out to the Senators of the North Carolina! Please, we really need your help. I would ask that everyone both email and send out written letters via USPS. It is vitally important that we take action immediately. There is no time to waist. We have lots of good info up on our website, including; email links to all 21 senators, their physical mailing address, sample letters, a link to the actual bill, links to the North Carolina General Assembly, and links to other websites with up to date info about this bill.

We just went through this in New York. The bill went into action this past January. Originally it was meant to restrict the ownership of all boids...straight across the board. With the united efforts of many fellow herpers across the country the restrictions were reduced to ownership of just the biggest species (ie, retics, burms, anacondas)
Let's group together for these fellow herpers in North Carolina! We need to stick together on this. Before you know it it will come into your own backyard. Please respond in a responsible fashion. We want to convey to the law makers that we are responsible, intelligent people that are both safe and humane in our practices as herpers!

The Judiciary 2 committe (the committe the bill 1032 is currently in) and meets every Tuesday and Thursday. Any actions that could be taken on this bill may come at a very short notice prior to them happening.
