maybe describe it?if it is small it may just be an anolis segrei, or brown anole. pet stores come up with interesting names to get peoples attention and brown anoles are often called bark anoles. i really couldnt tell without a description
Lately I have seen honduran night lizards (Lepidophyma flavimaculatum) come in and be sold in the states as everything from bark lizards to baby alligator lizards to bark agamas. Try doing an internet search under the scientific name, thats the best I can offer.
