I was just wondering if and how you can tell if females are carrying eggs?

I got four! Before she laid I could feel what I thought was three eggs by letting her crawl through my hands. I also put her on the floor and ran my fingers down her sides. Her last third also looked larger than normal. I did miss her ovulation, however.
Catching them laying belly-up is a good indication they are gravid. They also seek heat. My female showed some strong nesting behavior. She curled herself in a ball with substrate around her and was almost always in that same spot during the last 2 weeks prior to laying. They also will not be interested in copulating.
My girl's pre-lay shed was a great clue. They shed about 30 days before egg laying. Hope this all helps, and that I haven't said anything misleading. Good luck.

do females lay belly up at any other times besides them being gravid. my two girls had shed back on 3/13 and 3/15. the only thing i have noticed is them laying belly up every so often. i've tried palpating them but i don't feel any eggs. so do they only lay belly up when gravid only or do they lay belly up when ever they feel like it?
