just one of those stories...

so I'm trying to get my beardie to eat bearded dragon food and was told I could soak the pellets in apple juice...I give him water by dripping it on his nose, thought I'd try that with just a little juice to see if he'd like it...each time I'd drip a drop of the apple juice on his nose he would drink it but at the same time he'd shake his head...when I finished he went and rubbed his head on the tiles in his tank...not sure if that means he likes it or not but I believe he knows it's sticky...

Also, he just recently started head bobbing, we have no other beardie yet so I don't know what he's trying to be the boss of but it sure is amusing...

here's an idea: try dripping a few drops of apple juice into your eyes and nostrils and see how much you enjoy it......

:-P

probably burns like he**! ya know??

I didn't think of that...I'm not going to try with his apple juice, I'm sure since you should not use the same utensils etc. as your beardie to avoid germs, I'd imagine putting there juice in your nose would fall under that...I know I didn't get it in his eyes...I'd think though since water in our noses is uncomfortable, it would be for them as well yet he does not react to that...I did before coming on here give him a few more drops and this time he didn't shake his head, actually seemed to like it...
