What kind of daisy? I've pretty much stuck to the list and used plants and flowers that others have mentioned using successfully. We've got lots of yellow daisies blooming here (mostly Layia sp., but I can't find any info on their safty). In Baja, we caught a chuck that had been eating Encelia flowers (Brittle bush), so the yellow daisies from Encelias should be safe.

Here's some sites listing edible plants. The first two list a lot of ornamentals you can get at most garden stores.

I think citrus leaves are poisonous and I think that that site is only talking about the flowers. I've seen other sites warning agaist feeding things like oranges to herps, so I've just stayed away from citrus altogether. Maybe someone else can chime in here?

Here are some plants I grow / pick and regularly give my chucks:

Dandelion (leaves & flowers)
Pansey (flowers)
Hibiscus (flowers)
Moss rose (flowers)
Nasturtium (leaves and flowers)
Mint (leaves)
Alfalfa (leaves)
Gazania (heard them mentioned, but weren't a hit)
Wild raddish (flowers)
Mustard (flowers).

Nasturtiums are a big favorite and grow really fast, so I definately recommend getting a pot of them going. Dandelions come up in most lawns as long as you don't use herbicides. I've read that the similar looking sow thistles (Sonchus spp.) are poisonous (maybe just to people? but better safe than sorry)so be carefull not to confuse them with dandelions.

Now, you've got to convince everyone that dandelions make a wonderful addition to every flower bed and provide a colorful accent to every lawn

In addition to the nasturtiums and dandelions in the lawn and gardens, I've got a three of those half wine barrels planted with edibles. Growing your own stuff is a heck of a lot easier than going veggie shopping every week not to mention a lot cheaper.
