I havent seen my new sav eat!

Since I got my Sav about a week ago I havent seen him eat, and I'm not sure if he is eating at all. can someone give me some tips to try to feed this little guy...

Have you seen any poop in the cage?If so,then it has eaten.What are you feeding it?Need more info.

I've been feeding him crickets, tried a pinky mouse, but he wouldnt eat it.
