This is what I consider a red phase western hog! Most red phase snakes I see pics of here are normal westerns with a hint of orange to the blotches. This little girl is really as red as she looks here.
She is gravid (from a mating to an similar colored male) but all the babies are taken (and unfortunately, she isn't mine!).

I think a lot of people just need better cameras?
The blotches on the top are more brown than red, however, as they go to the side, they are reddish. Not as red as the hognose on your pic though.
