Below I was amazed (again) at the "Shark Tooth" head pattern......

on Chris' milksnake phase thayeri that he picked up from David Weymouth. I always check out the head patterns and try to decipher what they resemble. A friend of mine looked at this one and wanted it right away. He told me the head pattern looked like a Pac Man ghost from the old Atari arcade game.....LoL
He had to have it. I look at this picture all the time and wonder how he saw that.....But now that it he mentioned it to me I see it all the time.....LOL

Thanks again John. Usually I don't pay as much attention to head markings on neonates because they tend to change as they get older. I used to have a thayeri that had a line on its head that looked like a crack. I called him crackhead when he was small. But as he grew the "crack" faded and almost completely disappeared. Does "pac-man ghost" still have that same head pattern?
David Weymouth had several thayeri with unique head pattern's. The sharktooth is unique but it was more the amount of red on his head and nose that interested me. It's really a shame he's selling his collection.

BTW Pac-man ghost is a great looking thayeri even without the head pattern

Thanks Chris....
And yeah that red on the sharktooth thayeri is unbelievable.
The pac man ghost is still visible, but faded slightly. It is still a nice looking specimen.
Good Luck with all the Thayeri. Hope you produce some screamers next year.
BTW, do you own any other Mexicana besides Thayeri and Alterna (I know alterna is not classified as mexicana anymore, but still is to me.....)
I should produce Alterna, Ruthveni, Thayeri, Greeri and Mexmex next year.......This year just Mexmex and Thayeri will be breeding and man I cannot wait to see some babies.....

No I don't. Thayeri are definately my favorite though. I have pyros, highwhite cal kings, alterna, thayeri, and I have a lone female sinaloan.

I used to do rosy boas (9 locals) , NM milksnakes, mexican milksnakes, cornsnakes, mexmex, knoblochi, trans pecos rats, splendida, florida kings, zonatas, gophers, and ball pythons.

Good luck on your projects this year. BTW that a great looking MexMex.
