My new girl . . .

MajesticRose Apr 05, 2005 08:16 AM

You know . . . Leopards do exihibit some funky habits sometimes . . . However, this one is a little stranger than I"m used to seeing. I swear, Storm is confused that she's supposed to be a "land" gecko . . . She's constantly climbing on EVERYTHING! There's an opening in the top of my geckos hide, and at least three or four times a day I see her poking her head out, and the proceeding to climb up and over the hide, try to climb up the glass and climbing over another rock formation I have in their habitat. The other three hardly ever climb on things . . .

Oh well . . . I guess Storm's an "arboreal" want to be.

Both of mine love to climb in their leaves especially when they're getting ready to shed so they can get closer to the light. Usually when mine try to climb the glass its because they want to come out and get some attention. Don't worry you're not the only one with weird animals. Along with my odd ball geckos I have a bearded dragon that loves to swim. One of these days I'll have to see in my geckos like to swim too lol. You just have to remember that the odd ones are the fun one's. I think thats part of the reason that I love my animals so much.
