Hey,

Bloods are beautiful, get about 6 ft (red bloods max length) but are nice and big n' fat- 40 lbs worth??? Borneos are shorter, and also very pretty. Bloods are really cool, what I'm getting into totally...but I would not recommend them as a first or second snake.

Boas can be an absoulte nightmare if you get the wrong one! Get a Hog Island, the stay small, have a great personality, are very pretty, and are EASY to keep.

Peace,

Steve

i already have 3 snakes, so this would not be my first snake, and a buddy of mine has a few large boas and pythons, so i am not totally in the dark about handling big snakes, but i do have an opprtunity to buy 2 het for albino boas for a decent price and it is from a guy i trust. so i think for now i am going to stick with the boas and maybe down the road get a blood or borneo....i think i like the borneo's better than the red bloods, i like that tan and brown coloration...thanks for the reply though!!

Don't know what happened there but something went wrong. If you decide to go with a blood then contact kara at NERD her e-mail is kara@newenglandreptile.com very good person and knows alot about bloods. Good luck.

PS: Disregard my first post
