Finally my leo let me hold him, does he try to ge away from u wen u hold leos, and how dp u check if its a boy or girl, i kno how but i cant get the gecko on its tummy to check.

My leo's let me hold them when they want to be held but it takes a lot of patients to get them used to being handled. You don't have to turn them over to see the pours near the vent. When your leo lets you hold it just kind of move your head to see if you can see any pours near the vent area but it does depend on its age as well. I got my male when he was four months old and we knew for sure that he was a male at that age so I'm not sure how old they have to be before they can be sexed. I don't know the age of my female and probably never will but I do know that she's at least a year old and we were guessing at her sex because she was in very poor condition when I got her. Anyway if the pours are very pronounced in a V pattern then its a boy but if its hard to tell that there are any pours at all , it'll still be in a V pattern, then its a girl. I hope this helps.
