Are the addictive to leos and are they bad for them?
From what I have read, butterworms also known as teboworms are about the same in nutritional value as waxworms so I would assume they are probably just as addictive.
From my experience, Butterworms are way better nutritionally than waxworms and are NOT addictive. However, that being said, not all of my leos would eat them. They didn't seem to have the same general appeal as, say, silkworms. The ones that liked them ate them readily, but several of my other leos would try them and spit them back out, or refuse to try them at all. Worm-wise, I have had much better luck with Silks or even Goliath worms (Tomato horn worms from mulberry farms-not the wild ones, they are poisonous once they have eaten tomato or tobacco). Hope this helps!

My male leo (Winky) loves his butterworms, but yet he use to eat silkworms, but now he turns them down because he knows that I have butterworms somewhere and he knows he might get one. The only thign I have noticed that since he has ate the butterwomrs that his feces are much larger now. Sounds nasty but it is true. Is that normal. Also when I do give him a butterworm his feces are little softer, but i figure that is because of the fat in them, DO i figure correct?
