KONG mates * But With Who ?

PHEve Apr 05, 2005 07:15 PM

With my Beloved CHINOOK, ahhhhhhhh my pretty Miss NJ , I picked her up , put her down for a run and KONG came flying across the floor to greet her, grabed her and....

* BINGO * BONGO * BANGO

Have to see what happens, he was extremely large for her, but he managed to situate himself.

If not anything else if all goes well, they sure would be colorful, maybe LARGE too ! Two really NICE critters.

well it's nice to know kong has a sex drive! since i have known you for the last year, it always seemed like he had no interest and i was starting to think that maybe since he was so large that maybe he was not wired right, like a thyroid thing or something. you have always said he was nice to other males too so i thought maybe he thought of himself as sexless. i know, i am strange.

THIS season , Hes really FRISKY, I think its because he has lived free for long enough and he feels real secure with his HOME

He has a large rock he sleeps under and slept for awhile this winter, AND he has been basking under a MVB this year too.

I think it helps. I had not intended for my yellow lady Chinook to mate with anything but a yellowhead, but when I gave her a little run, KONG with fast !

Thats okay they are both C. collaris, and quite colorful, I will definitely keep a male and female from this match, IF she lays.

Or else I can't catch a lizard. ha, ha. I am very curious what those babies will look like. I would love to see a superbright yellowhead female with a blue dewlap LOL. Might as well let her visit one or two more times.

You have to wonder if we really know anything about collareds. We never pay attention, do we? ha, ha, ha.

John E.

tip of the day...I did some fishing with spiderwire the other day...it's a braided, teflon coated fishing line that doesn't have the memory of fishing line (it doesn't get loopy) it's probably softer than line and holds a nicer lood that holds itself open more a long the lines of dental floss. I like the stuff a lot. I may try flossing with it.

PHEve Apr 06, 2005 05:22 PM
