getting my boy on Thrusday - thoughts on setup??

lele Apr 05, 2005 08:56 PM

Hi all,

Provided the New England weather cooperates I will be getting my boy on Thursday!! I have attached two pics of his new setup. Forgot to put up the lights...to the left will be basking (pretty blue Maine beach rock as main basking) and the UVB runs across the top. I have not checked temps with gun yet but will do a full check tomorrow.

The idea behind the "design" is that he can easily get from basking, to UVB, to grouns, to hide (cool cork bark, huh? I happen to love this piece for some reason! lol!).

Any thoughts? Btw, he is a bit over 2 months. I am getting him from my friend in FL who I adopted my veiled cham from a couple years ago.

Thanks for input!!

lele

p.s. you will be seeing more of me around here

Whew! That looks fantastic! Great starter tank for your new dragon. Make sure you make the temps right, and post photos of the little guy when you get him!!

Hi David, thanks for your input! I am counting on all of you for advice along the way, just as I have on the Cham forum for a couple years.

I really wasn't sure about "too much stuff"! lol! I have the lights on now to check temps. I am used to the high humidity requirements of my veiled cham so this will be a change. He is out in the hall b/t my office and bedroom so adjusting different humidity levels shouldn't pose a problem.(he is also out there so Luna can't see him!

I have some pics from his current mom but will wait to post.

thanks, again!
