I happend to catch an advertisment in the back of my June edition of Reptiles and noticed a book coming out that looks outstanding. Called "Snakes of the Southeast" by Whit Gibbons and Mike Dorcas. 314 color photos and 49 distribution maps are listed. Supposed to be released in May. Linked to www.ugapress.org. I think I'm going to have my local bookstore put me one on order.
Anyway, wanted to put out this information for those that may have not heard about this book.
Also speaking of this edtion (June) of Reptile magazine, there is a great article on Yellowtail Cribos. They have a pic of one that is an absolute monster.
