U. lineatus...normal color?

dravenxavier Apr 05, 2005 11:57 PM

Hi. I was just curious. Today we just got in a Lined Leaftail at the store I'm at, but I haven't seen pictures of one like it. Instead of the brown striping I always see, it's solid banana yellow, and the skin in semi-translucent. The only pigment seems to be tiny pinpoint specks of black here and there, and a black tongue. Any idea if this is a normal coloring? Perhaps a regional color variety?

Wow...yea...I looked on the main page, but never even knew there were subforums :-P I'll post my question there too. I guess what through me off is the bright yellow color and how translucent the skin is. I'll try to get a picture posted tonight, though of course, I can't show how translucent it is (it's a camera phone :-P).
