There's alot of pet stores around where I live because I live at the capital. Well, there's one perticular one that I found to be rather willing to do what needs to be done to ensure the reptiles and animals have the proper lighting and food. Well, I went in yesterday and saw 2 juvi igs in a 40 gallon tank, It was temporary but the thing that bothered me was that one of them had their tail stuck in an opening for air, I know the person that owns it so I tried to free him from it without injuring the tail. Well, I was taking my time and sure enough here comes the owner barging into the area with the reptiles and scares the bejesus out of the ig, thus resulting in the ig ripping off it's tail. I about jack-knifed him right into some glass cages. I bandaged the tail up and just then noticed that he was feeding them everything he shouldn't have and they had no water. They had a dripper for mice/rats/gerbals. Well, when I was done those two igs were loungin in their baskin spot with about $250 around them. He didn't like it to well because I was "using his resources for customers." I told him that these guys are the reason they are there, and he shut it right up. haha
Well, just wanted to share that.. Thought it was pretty awkward. I don't see many pet stores willing to actually spend money to help their guys out. cya
