I have 2 babies both 2 weeks old.
One is eating fine everyday(mealworm), it hisses and tempts to bite,
the other which is slightly larger with thicker tail, tamer and quiet is not eating since it was hatched.

Try Pinhead Crickets. Mealies don't always move enough to catch the attention of newborns.

Is the yolk sac still attached?

It looks healthy, the Yolk Sack is no more there...

Pinheads are not available here, can I give it small crickets? But still small crickets are slightly larger than the width of its head, can I still try it?

Thanks a lot for the help!

You can order them through the internet. Grubco (www.grubco.com) is a really excellent place to buy reptile food from. And really inexpensive.

Personally, I wouldn't give the leo anything bigger than its head - it might not be able to get it down, especially since it's the 1st time it's ever eaten anything.

Good Luck!

Medium (wingless) crickets are fine. Pinheads are WAY too small. They are smaller than fruit flies. 3 to 4 week old mediums are perfect sized. If all you can get are large, you still should be able to find some small enough to feed him. I always start my hatchlings on crickets. They bring out the feeding response better than mealworms and contain more calcium that babies need. I don't start switching them over to crickets until they're around 6 weeks old.

Oy.. you're right.

Maybe I shouldn't answer feeding questions when I'm on a diet lol... Trying to minimize everything...

I'm assuming he meant he doesn't start switching them over to mealies...?
