Senate Bill 1032 Inherently dangerous animals

tdk Apr 06, 2005 08:46 AM

I hope all of you from the reptile community around the US will write to block this any any other state's bill. We're losing our freedoms if we don't do something about it, we're stronger together--let's continue to support our other states and herpers. Follow these directions to post an email to all NC legislatures for opposition to this bill. NC legilature at www.ncga.state.nc.us go to frequently asked questions, under web site-how to email all legislature. Make your opinion known in NC. Ask your local reps. to block with a separate email (addresses can be found under this same site). Other parties from other states should post similar address so we can address this in your state. I heard there is a petition to be signed at he Columbia,SC and Raleigh, NC shows. If this is true can you list a copy of this on this forum that can be copied, signed and forwarded to the appropriate person collecting signatures.

Humans are the most inherently dangerous animals on the planet but they are exempt for the bill I supose?

Cheers,

I emailed all the state legislators anyway. I know quite a few others who did as well (all incidently are non-residents as well). Hope that helps, if even just a little. I've only got back one reply, one sentence "Thank you for writing". Doesn't seem like they really care.

Thanks for writing I haven't seen a single response and I live in NC and have emailed the house, senate plus 4 local legislatures and one in Charlotte.
