Anyone heard anything from Roberta Byrd?

A.C. Apr 06, 2005 12:04 PM

I haven't seen Roberta post anything in the classifieds in the last year or so. I also don't remember seeing her posting anything on this forum. Anyone have an update?

She got some smoking northerns from me, and I know she had a nice pit collection.

I lived with Roberta in Indiana for a year until last April when I moved back to Wisconsin. I traded her a cockatoo & an african grey parrot for all her snakes. She wanted out of reptiles so the trade worked for both of us. Ron Radloff

she was a nice lady who seemed so into the pits. Oh well! Birds are cool too.

I haven't seen you post anything about your trip, just curious as to how it went.

Have a good one,

Gregg

and, are you guys going to hamburg on 4/30? i'm selling off some stuff there that day, mostly young adult pits, milks, kings and some n/am ratsnakes. i'm cutting back some......and this time i really mean it! lol! one of my hypo sonorans [eNVy via gregg] laid her 1rst clutch yesterday, 12 i think but it's hard to tell, they are really glued together. i thought she had damn near croaked, she looked sooo beat but she bounced back, resuming feeding today and is almost herself again. guess that comes from good stock. ;>] thanks guys! ttyl...........

Just got my pics back last night from walmart, so I will be making a post on the fieldherping forum in the next week or so. Lots of life-listers! I was put on to some great FL pine habitat by a friend down there. They said they are most often found in the hottest part of the day. We did a lot of stomping and cruising, but none were found. We did see some snake tracks leading into gopher tort holes, but you never know what they could have come from.

Be on the lookout for the post, guys!

I'll be looking forward to that post. I probably won't make it to Hamburg this time around, i'm pretty stocked up on everything and trying to get caught up here. But i'll be going in June (i think there is one in june?). So maybe i can meet up with you guys at that one if your going.

Have a good weekend, looks like we might get some sun and i can get out to take pics!

Hey Dan,
I probably won't make it to Hamburg this month, but shoot me an e-mail with the list of snakes your selling just in case, lol. I'm glad the Sonoran laid a clutch, congrats on that and I'm glad she has bounced back. I guess no subocs for you this year then if your cutting back some. I have tried to cut back, lol, but you know how that goes.

Have a good weekend,

Gregg F.
