gee, i'm known in cyberspace other than here??? uh-oh...
Here is my favorite one of Luna. it looks like she is sleeping but she was hanging upside down on her jungle gym with one eye closed and the other peering at my cat on the floor. I know everyone warns about the cat thing, but their litter box is in my office so they cross paths from time to time. She watches when they come in but is comfortable enough to wander out of her cage (onto her gym in the air) even while they are in here. Her color doesn't change at all anymore.
I have some pix of her on the cham gallery under "lele" and on webshots username "13lele" Lots on her gym on that site!

Yeah, she is a sweetie. She was a "special needs" girl. Sonia (anson) contacted me after I lost my trio of brevi's and sent me a pic of Luna (i am going to have to dig up that pic and post it!) and said she wanted her to go to someone not interested in breeding. She was small for her age and missing part of her tail (not that the tail thing would have to do with breeding - lol!). So i said - OK!!! She was 4 months and will be 2 in late May. She is gravid with her 4th infertile clutch and I am hoping that not breeding her will give her a longer life. She has laid big clutches (42, 42, 37) with no problems until the last one where MBD developed (long story). Anyway...she is my baby and very special girl. She will not be ravaged by some male - haha! yeah, the pics on her gym are pretty funny. Since I work (ahem..often distracted) from home I have LOTS of photo ops!

Anyway thanks for the invite to your gallery. Shes gorgeous. I have always wanted a veild or panther, but heard the panthers like your company more. Guess it depends how they are raised.
I like to interact with my lizards, and many all very friendly(that were not supposed to be, heheheh)
Luna, seems very happy, I'm sure she LUCKED OUT, when she came to live with you!
I also love the tananulas, My Husband would toss me out if I brought one in.

I had always wanted a chameleon (and an iguana), but several years ago when I decided to finally get a lizard I did not know where to look for a cham and had fallen in love with collareds in my search. I decide THAT is what I would get. I didn't know my way around the web as I do now and could not find one that I wanted, could afford and have shipped. I do not recall which species I wanted but could not find one. Time went on, life got in the way and when I got back to fulfilling my desire I went with my first choice of a cham. Had I known about KS I may not have gotten Luna but a collared instead - and maybe from you!! lol!
Your photos are wonderful - yes, I looked at every one of them - but I lost count. Just how many herps do you have? You must live in a warm climate to accommodate everyone. I love the names, too. I really get in to naming my critters and as you may have noticed all my girls end with "a.” Not initially intentional but once I realized I was doing it (began with cats) I decided to make it a "theme" - ha-ha!
Your poor little hootie cool that she is doing OK. The agama is cool looking. Do you know why they evolved a tail like that? I am always curious to understand the evolutionary reasons for species adaptations - it just fascinates me!
Well, I bookmarked your site and if I ever get around to getting a collared, I will know who to contact! Glad you now have chams, too and are on this forum!

I have to say I'm having a Blast, have learned so much and never wanna stop learning about them all. (you obviously know what I mean)
I find reptiles/ froggies fascinating, as well as ALL furry and feathery critters too.
Like you, I'm lucky enough to also be at home during the day or I could not do it . Had my human kids right out of high school so they are both out and married with their own babies now.

Yeah, let me know if ya ever want a pretty collared, I breed some really colorful aquaflames, yellowheads, and other species of collareds as well. I never get tierd of looking at them they are so pretty !
Your question about the shield tail agama(oh isn't he the sweetest lil thing?) anyway their tails in natural are used in a very interesting way, they go into their den , and block the enterance with their tails, like a door. LOL Its like a sheild to keep out predators.
I have been waiting patiently to purchase Chiumbo a little girl shield tail, and finally she will be ready in 2 weeks. I'm sure he will be DELIGHTED, even happier than me
