I have no "conclusive proof" that this has a positive effect on the babies except to say, that in my experience with hatching reptiles, and not just boids, and not just snakes either,.. that the offspring one hatches out allowing them to smell you do appear to "imprint" a greater recognition and a lesser fear overall than those that are not interacted with right away. So yes, in my opinion this is much better towards resulting in having tamer babies sooner.
>>Ok.. for the past clutches i have had i just watched them hatched and didnt really interact at first. In a couple days i have another clutch about to hatch....what would they do if i was the first scent they smelled? like if i were to help them out of the egg and i was the very first thing for them to see or smell. Would they be nippy like most baby burms? yalls ideas plzz.

It isn't "Ideas" that fail or succeed,... it is the "Systems" which are instilled to launch and sustain the idea that either fail or succeed.>[Me.]
