Egg question

crotaphytusman Apr 06, 2005 06:59 PM

Yes I have yet another question. All of my eggs look to be ok, all but one. It is the biggest of the bunch and it has a little dent in the side. All the others look to be ok and are still firm. I added a little more water just to be sure but I don't know if this is normal or not. Like I said it is much bigger than the others so I don't know if that has anything to do with it. Also they still have sand on them from when she layed them. the sand stuck to the eggs and I didn't want to try and get it off and mess up the eggs. I didn't think this would be a big deal but just thought I would mention it just in case. Thanks everyone who has been helping me. I hope I don't have anymore questions untill I see them come out and have pictures of the little guys for you all to see. Thanks again

You are always welcome to ask as many questions as you have , as often , thats what this forum is for.

Someone here will always be glad to help.

Okay, the egg with the dent, does it feel firmish ? I would leave it alone and see how it does for now.

The sand is normal, mine always have the sand suck to them also. Does not hurt anything, just relax make sure your temps stay within the safe ranges and let time do it's thing.

Its always hard to wait, it never gets any less frustrating, hehehe need to be patient!

here who also is so devoted to these pretty little lizards.

I learned so very much over the years hanging here, and STILL learn something new all the time. Ya never have all the answers, new sitiations always arise.

Like what I just went through last week, with Chenoa, I have never had a girl die before, after laying. This was a new thing I experienced.

Its FUN sharing your interest/hobby with a whole forum of people trying to do the same thing, keep our collareds healthy , happy, and even make lil ones to enjoy.

And take TONS of pics too & Have a little fun with our forum buddies , makes for a great place to come.
