Ours is still a baby~ less than a year old~ so pics will not help~ but here is a pic anyway~ cuz he is just too damn cute! I've had him for 5 months and I am guessing he was a month or two when we got him~ so maybe 6-8 months old.
I'd like to see some pics of adults as well. If you look down a few posts to where I am all proud of the cage I built (that apparently sucks) someone has posted a pic of an adult male~ he looks to be a very big guy. Larger than I expected. I guess that will teach me to let my husband pic a pet I have to find a way to take care of!
As far as what to feed~ I heard that they will eat a variety of things including dog or cat food~ but I guess ours is spoiled as he will not eat dog or cat food! I tried~ he ignored it~ and I gave in and gave him better food! He eats crickets (doesn't seem to like them much though~ eats them only when pretty hungry). He likes rat and mice pinks/fuzzies. He'll eat hamburger (little balls nuked in the microwave for about 30 seconds). But by far his favorite is chicken. I cut it into little chunks and freeze the chunks for easy serving. Nuke it for about 30 seconds~ let it cool and he is a happy lizard!

Why does a person have to be holding it?
You know, a small person will make it look large, and vice versa. This guy SHvar on these forums would make my male rudi look like a baby....
Its much better to go get a ruler and look at it.
The average rudi adult size is four feet. Their body is the size of a small cat. There, that's an excellent visual!
All my rudis eat mice. They get other stuff sometimes, but prefer mice.
take care
D.
ok, a ruler is fine i was just thinking in terms of body mass. i guess a better way to do it would be to ask for weight and snv length.
im just thinking that a three foot sav looks alot different than a three foot tree monitor.
thanks for the reply. still any pics are appreciated with or without people
