I live on 2.5 acres in the Mojave Desert and my neighbors keep telling me about the rattlers they are seeing. I hadn't seen any all year. Today I was taking a walk about noon and I find this guy coiled below a creosote bush. Glad that I had my digital with me at the time.

The helleri are doing great and growing fast. Time to get larger containers for them. Can't seem to have enough mice around.
