Do you remember that cal king that we found near Bagdad, AZ in 1997 or 1998? That sure was a pretty one!

Here is one from Vulture Mine Road here in Arizona that Scott and I found last summer. A big contrast to the ones found up North here.

That is really nice. I like that pure white rather than the yellow or dirty cream that most up north had.

It must be nice to have a herping buddy. That is one thing I really miss about AZ.

This is what we are used to seeing. I actually caught 5 wild Cal Kings in my rodent room last year. I think one was a duplicate though. I did feed them a mouse before letting them back out.

Sometimes I have better luck herping in my own yard!

I did go out yesterday in Prescott and found 7 Wandering Garter snakes, 2 Sonoran Gopher snakes, and 1 toad in about an hour.

Tomorrow after work I am going to go to a spot where I have seen lots of boards.
