all mohawks that we have are from one litter!
we have breeding a mohawk male to a normale female and we have received a very nice litter mohawks
we have also breed a normal male to a mohawk female,we dont wont breed the mohawk male to this female to test the genetic! we don't have realy think this female was ready to breed but now we have a litter with very nice boas,we are sure this boas also get the high colored bodys like the other mohawks after the 2-3 sheed and in 4-7 months this boas glow for color, mohawks become after every sheed more and more color...
in this litter was also 3 eggs and 1 dead boa-the dead boas has also side stripes like other mohawks that we have, the mohawk mother from this litter has also a very nice pattern-chain and is deep red!
the most babys from this litter has a very nice chain with laddertail/squaretails
you must think this was a very small litter-it was the first litter for this female,we are sure this female produce also the same mohawks like the mohawk male from the last litter!
in the last litter was also mohawks with laddertails/squaretails.
at this time we are to 95% sure the mohawks are a dominant line.
but what is a mohawk?... we think mohawk's are very nice pastels or maybe a new hypo line!
we test next season many mohawks by breeding projects and we hope we can next year produce many mohawks and also many mohawk crosses with other boa morphs!
if all mohawks produce by breeding with normal boas litters with babys that looks a little like motleys,salmons,laddertails...., and all becomes this very high red or orange, than i think is this a great new morph!
next year we breed also the first time mohawk x mohawk and we cant wait to see the litter
