PHEve Apr 07, 2005 11:29 AM

YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY

I have seen Sindars tummy with her white masses again, so I just watched . Today I noticed she was sleeping on the glass and they were gone.

I searched very carfully, and beside or close to a big log at the base, I found two well formed, eggs. They seem to look good, OH I'm hoping.

So EGGCITING, EGGSILERATING, Well just down right EGGSTATIC for dang sure !

NOW, for the WAIT,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, AHHHHHHHHHHH

This is very exciting! You've been waiting so patiently. One tip, keep them cool. I tlike to keep mine between 69-72 degrees F. And so far I've had 100% hatch. Waiting is tough, but when they hatch it's about the coolest thing ever!

Thanks, right now thats exactly what they are at temp wise. My reptile room is so full of lights its tooooooooo HOT. But my downstairs we keep at about 68 -70ish. And when it gets warm out the central air will be on and it will be set in the low 70's

Yeah this is exciting. I breed collareds and some other things so I have had the THRILL and miracle of watching an egg hatch just wonderful, do doubt. Never get tierd of watching either, still just as COOL.

BUT............... If these hatch it will be my first little leaftails,

then I can post some cute lil new faces, too, LOL

Thanks, Continued success to you

jeez i look back at the archives and you seem to be the only one who has stuck around this place for a long time. good thing you kept EGGing her on!! haha, i've been waiting so long to say that to you. i'd keep the eggs nice and cool, i just turned the AC on today cuz it was getting a lil stuffy in my room upstairs. granted all ive hatched so far was phants, but i would say if you've had our gex so healthy for so long, simply incubate the eggs at the same temp you keep the adults at (lower 70's, and into the 60's is good, IMO).

congratulations we all know you've been waiting for this moment for forever and a day!
