Breeding Deremensis Chameleons

gorch33 Apr 07, 2005 01:10 PM

I have a pair of Deremenis Chameleons that I've had for over a year. I cannot get them to breed. Infact, they show no interest in each other. I've read that they breed in late fall/early winter, but I've had no luck. I tried lenghthening/shortening the photoperiod, increasing/decreasing the humidity, etc.

Any tips or pointers are greatly appreciated.

To be honest, this is way out of my league, have you tried posting in the chameleon forum? Who did you buy them off of? If captive bred I'm sure the prev. owner would love to help

There are some very good ideas to encourage breeding in this article from the AdCham site.
