see a pic of a dart frog tank.i need some tips cause im getting one soon.also,if i cant use a screen lid what can i use?im go'n to use a 10 gallon tank.

If you are using an aquarium tank, you can purchase the hinged glass lid to go with it. They fit perfectly, have the plastic flaps in the back to accommodate any wiring or tubing you may also use. The fluorescent lights fit on top for plant lighting, and you have a nice initial set up that keeps up the humidity. If you live in a hot area where you may want to raise the lid and cool the tank, you can jimmy-rig a screen on the front area, but there are other ways to cool it, as well. You can use a Tropic-aire humidifier that just puts some humid air into the tank through an aquarium air hose with an adaptor. If it gets too hot, some ice in this will cool the introduced air. There are enough small leaks in the hinges of the glass top for ventilation.

This is just my own thought on the subject, but if you can afford a 10 gallon, why not go for 20? It will give you more room to play around with designing it.

i need some pics too. i would like someone to give me pics with a walk through with a good setup so i wont have to clean it alot ive been out of town for three weeks now and i just got a call my mother killed my green tree frog aka"booger". but i would like to upgrade my tank first. its a 10 gallon i just had one frog and thats all what i wont. i go out of time evey now and then so keeping cleaning down will help thanks. email me at sexymexi003@aol.com thank u
