can anybody help? I need to ID this frog!

Hello

I am working on a book and am desperately trying to identify this frog (common and latin names, if possible).

I have posted the picture up on the photo gallery:

Hopefully it's attached to this message too.

If anyone can help with identifying this frog it would really be very much appreciated.

Many Thanks

Alex

This is not a great angle to tell from. It looks like Leptopelidae but could be Pacific Treefrog too. Is the underside of the jaw concave? This would indicate Leptopelidae. Is the frog's back also concave -- swaybacked -- like a bullfrog (lepto), or rounded like a White's (pacific tf)? Lastly, if it can jump out of your hand like a worldclass athlete it's probably lepto; if it jumps a less impressive distance it's probably pacific.
