I introduced a brumated and shed male into a brumated and shed females cage. Last year he bred her in minutes. This year he doesnt show a whole lot of interest and despite being left for hours with her has not bred her that I can tell. Both have been eating fine. What could be wrong? Please share your thoughts.

I had this happen with a few of mine.
I just separated them for a few days and noticed the males started geting pretty restless so I put them back together and they hooked up fine.
So, I would recommend separating them, giving them several days to a week apart and try again. Just repeat as needed. I would be willing to bet they WILL eventually hook up.

Same thing happened to me. Thought my male was maybe too young or perhaps homosexual if that exists in snakes. Then I separated them for a week or two. Next time I put them together this happened.
